It's been a good month! I am in a show with 3 other artists at the Housatonic Museum of Art in Bridgeport, CT. Prints that work: Printmaking in the service of a bigger picture features the work of myself, John O'Donnell, Neil Dangle-Orians, and Roxanne Faber Savage. It is on view through March 25, panel discussion March 23. See a blog post about my work in the show from Sharon Butler of Two Coats of Paint here. Last week, I received the Art Award from the Long River Review, a UConn Art & Literary Magazine to be published in April. And finally I was recently accepted to a 4 week residency at Proyecto 'ace, a printmaking studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'll be there from the end of June!
My piece, The Lowest Tide, will be on display from February 20th-March 31st (2017) at the Columbia College Sydney Larson Gallery as part of the Paper in Particular show juried by Ben Cameron.
Flattered to have had two of my prints chosen for this show by renowned printmaker, Karen Kunc. The show will be up from Feb. 3-March 3, 2016 should anybody find themselves in the vicinity of Edinboro, PA!
Humbled to have been published in this Art & Poetry Magazine! www.thedoris.world (click "scroll" and scroll down to December 3)
I was fortunate enough to have my piece, Observations and Reflections, selected for this juried show at Millsaps College which will be on display until February 20th. If anybody is around Jackson, Mississippi, go check it out! Click here for info.
After finishing my Undergraduate degree, I spent about 5 years working as a chef on various private and charter sailboats. Now that I am back on land, my focus has turned back towards the visual arts, but this blog documents some of my culinary adventures. Enjoy!
